Flusco Wood, nestled in beautiful woodland just 4½ miles from Ullswater, offers breathtaking views and contemporary style. The spacious boutique accommodation combines modern finishes with a country charm, providing every home comfort. Guests can relax on the verandah with a summer sundowner, unwind in the outdoor hot tub, or cozy up indoors while watching the wildlife. The lodge is pet-friendly and provides adjacent parking, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay for guests.
Hillcroft Park, located within the Lake District National Park and just a 5-minute walk from Ullswater and the village of Pooley Bridge, offers an idyllic location for exploring the area. Guests can enjoy various activities such as walking, cycling, fishing, sailing, and climbing, or simply relax on the David Bellamy Gold Award winning Park. The park provides easy access to local attractions like the Rheged Visitor Centre and The Ullswater Steamer, as well as opportunities for both gentle and more challenging walks in the surrounding area.
For guests staying at Flusco Wood, a number plate recognition barrier system is in place for access to the park. Guests are required to provide their vehicle registration details in advance. The lodge offers Wi-Fi, but the speed may not support streaming or downloading due to the rural location. Guests with pets are advised to book pet-friendly accommodations. Additionally, maintenance work will be taking place at Flusco Wood from Monday 9th March to Wednesday 18th March, with minimal disturbance to guests expected.
