Located in Underskiddaw, Cumbria in the North of England, this charming cottage sleeps up to 3 people and is surrounded by stunning countryside. Situated just across the road from Dodd Wood, guests can enjoy a woodland trail and breathtaking views. The cottage is also conveniently located near Bassenthwaite Lake, with attractions such as Mirehouse and Gardens, and the Bassenthwaite Lake National Nature Reserve within easy reach. The lively market town of Keswick is just 4 miles away, offering a variety of restaurants, shops, pubs, and tourist attractions like Derwent Pencil Museum and Castlerigg Stone Circle.

Inside the cottage, guests will find a bright and welcoming lounge/diner with original features such as exposed ceiling beams and wooden doors. The comfortable seating area includes a TV and wood burner effect electric fire, while the sociable dining area is perfect for enjoying meals together. The fully equipped kitchen features an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washer/dryer. Upstairs, there are two cosy bedrooms - a king-size master bedroom with views of the fells and a home-like single room with a low sloping ceiling. An additional folding bed is available upon request for the single room. The stylish bathroom upstairs includes a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside, the cottage boasts a lovely grassy garden with views of the lake and fells, providing plenty of space for children and dogs to play. Guests can relax in the outdoor furniture with a glass of wine in the evening. Parking is available for two cars in the car park, which also features an electric charging station shared with the two other properties on site. Nature lovers can explore nearby attractions like Carl Side, Ullock Pike, Skiddaw, and Longlands Fell, making this cottage an ideal retreat for walkers, hikers, and those seeking a peaceful escape in the countryside.
