Barn End is a charming barn conversion located on the outskirts of Pooley Bridge, near Penrith in the Lake District National Park. The cottage can accommodate up to three people in two bedrooms, including a double room with a roll-top bath and a single room, along with a shower room. The open plan living area features a kitchen, dining area, and a cozy sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside, there is parking space for two cars, making it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area.

The property is equipped with oil central heating, a woodburning stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, small dishwasher, WiFi, TV with Freeview, and a DVD player. Bed linen, towels, and a starter pack for the woodburning stove are included in the rental. A travel cot and highchair are available upon request. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, and smoking is prohibited on the premises. The village of Pooley Bridge offers traditional inns, tea rooms, a Post Office, and the Ullswater Steamers for leisurely cruises on Lake Ullswater.
