Nearby attractions include Auckland, Raby, and Barnard Castle, as well as the beautiful city of Durham with its cathedral and riverside walks. The treehouse is also conveniently located for exploring Hamsterley Forest, Weardale, Teesdale, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Upon arrival at the treehouse, guests are greeted with a bespoke metal bridge leading to a generous boot room for storing outdoor gear. The main living space features underfloor heating and an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with bespoke features and panoramic views. The lounge area includes comfortable seating around an impressive stone fireplace with an illuminated wood burner. The kitchen is well-equipped with a range style electric oven, fridge/freezer, and microwave, while the large kitchen island provides ample workspace. Three beautifully presented bedrooms, each with an en suite rainfall shower and WC, offer comfortable accommodation for guests. Two bedrooms are located on the main floor (super king size and double), while the third bedroom (king size) is upstairs. A carpeted mezzanine lounge upstairs provides additional seating and stunning views from windows on all sides.

Outside, guests can relax on the south-facing balcony overlooking the garden, pond, and views towards Witton Castle. The garden is shared with a second cottage for two, and there is ample off-road parking for three or more cars.
