Outside, there is a patio and garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, as well as ample off-road parking.

The cottage boasts gas central heating, an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, flat screen TVs with Freeview, DVD player, CD/radio, and WiFi. Fuel and power are included in the rent, as well as bed linen. A travel cot and highchair are available, and two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Some traffic noise from the A1(M) is audible from the garden.
