Anglers can enjoy fishing at Waskerley and Derwent Reservoirs, while cyclists, hikers, and dog walkers can explore numerous routes in the area. For a more relaxing break, guests can indulge in spa treatments at Slaley Hall or play golf at the prestigious 18 hole course on site.

Upon entering the cottage, guests are welcomed into a bright and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The cosy lounge is furnished with a traditional wood burner and TV/DVD, perfect for relaxation. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and Dulci Gusto coffee machine. A ground floor WC and enclosed store room for bikes are also available. Upstairs, there are two comfortable bedrooms with TV/DVD and en suite bathrooms featuring a shower over the bath and WC. The double room can be converted into a twin on request, and there is also a king size room for guests to enjoy.

Outside, guests can relax in the large courtyard shared with other properties on site, as well as a private garden seating area. Nearby attractions include Knitsley Farm Shop, Wheelbirks Jersey ice cream farm, and Bywell smokery, offering a range of experiences for visitors.
