Located in Stranocum, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, Coachman's Cottage is a charming holiday home that sleeps up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. Situated near the Causeway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the cottage was once the home of the coachman who served the Hutchinson family at Stranocum Hall. After falling into disrepair, it was fully renovated by the current owners of Stranocum Hall.
The cottage features a spacious open plan living, dining, and kitchen area with modern amenities such as a dishwasher, coffee machine, and log burner for cozy evenings. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with heated towel rails and underfloor heating. The second bedroom can be converted into a super-king bed, and baby equipment can be provided upon request.
Guests can enjoy a private patio and yard, as well as access to nearby attractions like the Dark Hedges, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, and Ballintoy Harbour, all of which were filming locations for Game of Thrones®. The Royal Portrush Golf Course is also just a 20-minute drive away, making it an ideal spot for visitors to The 148th Open.
The owners of Coachman's Cottage are dedicated to ensuring a memorable stay for their guests and are happy to provide recommendations for local activities and sights.
