The cliff top location is home to rare flora and fauna, making it a special place to stay. Nearby Lizard Village offers shops, restaurants, and a friendly pub just a short distance away.

Originally established in 1619, Lizard Lighthouse features two distinctive white towers that were built in 1751 by Thomas Fonnereau. Operated by Trinity House since 1771, the lighthouse was electrified in 1924 and fully automated in 1998. With a light range of 26 miles and an automatic fog signal that reaches 3 miles in misty conditions, the lighthouse continues to guide ships safely along the coast.

Guests at Lizard Lighthouse can expect a unique experience, as it is a fully operational lighthouse with an electric fog signal. While WiFi is not available and mobile signal is limited, guests can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome for an additional charge, and amenities such as a travel cot and highchair can be provided upon request.

As a heritage building, Lizard Lighthouse may have features that differ from modern accommodations, such as uneven steps and stairs. Guests are advised to familiarize themselves with the premises upon arrival and exercise caution accordingly. While maintenance staff may visit at any time, guest privacy is respected. Due to its location and surroundings, children should be supervised at all times to ensure their safety.
