Nestled just outside of St Austell on the beautiful south coast of Cornwall is ‘Robin Hill’, a delightful detached bungalow with sea views. Perfect for a family retreat or couples getaway to the Cornish Riviera, this homely base is set within walking distance of several beaches, with Duporth and Porthpean being little further than the end of the road (0.6 miles). If sailing or golf interests you, there is a sailing club on Porthpean beach, and Robin Hill is conveniently located across the road and adjacent to the golf course. Additionally, the famous Eden Project is a short drive away, making this a fabulous touring base.

Well-furnished throughout, Robin Hill offers ample spaces for relaxation. Enjoy an evening in either of the sitting rooms, one with vibrant décor and the other, a drawing room, featuring original oak panelling and a coal-effect electric heater for a cosy retreat. The kitchen is well-equipped with a range of appliances, ideal for preparing home-cooked meals, which can be enjoyed in the adjoining dining room. The conservatory and outdoor furniture provide additional spaces for socializing, enjoying drinks, or alfresco dining.

As the evening comes to a close, settle down in one of the three spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom features a double bed with an en-suite shower room, while another double and a twin room are also available, each finished with quality furnishings and crisp cotton bed linen. The property is family-friendly, with each bedroom able to accommodate a travel cot, and both a travel cot and high chair can be provided. Robin Hill also offers plenty of off-road parking and welcomes two well-behaved dogs.

Local amenities can be found in St Austell, which boasts superb restaurants, quirky cafés for Cornish cream teas, and a variety of takeaways for traditional fish and chips, catering to all tastes and budgets. Avid walkers can explore the famous South West Coastal Path leading into Charlestown, where the famous Georgian harbour used in the Poldark TV series can be seen. For history enthusiasts, the Shipwreck Treasure Museum is a must-visit, along with the eco-park of the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Porthpean beach offers plenty of watersporting opportunities for a fun-filled day by the sea.

At the end of each day, return to the comfort of Robin Hill to recharge your batteries and prepare for another day of adventure on the Cornish Riviera.
