Spanning approximately 20 acres, the gardens include a recently renovated walled garden, a potager, and a secluded valley that houses three small lakes. These gardens have earned a prestigious reputation, being recognized as one of 'The Great Gardens of Cornwall' and receiving a star in the 'Good Garden Guide,' highlighting their exceptional beauty and horticultural value.

The estate is characterized by its traditional mixed agricultural setting, featuring an ancient manor, farmland, and woodlands that stretch across the Lizard Peninsula. Its unique location offers easy access to both the Helford River and Poldhu Cove beach, which are just over a mile away from the estate. In addition to Mews Cottage, the Bonython Estate offers other accommodations, including Bonython Farmhouse, which can sleep up to ten guests, St Corantyn Cottage for four guests, and Spring Water Barn, which accommodates two guests.
