You’ll find a modern kitchen and dining space complete with a multi-fuel stove, three spacious bedrooms, a large living room and a contemporary bathroom. And as you’ll be within a stone’s throw to the water’s edge, there’s storage for you to bring your own canoe or kayak.

You’ll also have free, out of hours access to the gardens and wider estate of Cotehele, where you’ll be able to explore its network of walking trails. Further afield, The Tamar Valley, which meanders down from Launceston into the Plymouth Estuary, offers an abundance of walking, cycling and horse riding adventures. Or if you prefer to let the train take the strain, take the Tamar Valley Line from Plymouth the Gunnislake crossing the Calstock viaduct.
