Drop Anchor is a charming traditional fisherman's cottage located in the heart of St Ives, Cornwall. This cozy vacation home sleeps up to six guests and is just a short walk away from The Island, Porthgwidden, and Porthmeor beaches, making it the perfect retreat for a Cornish getaway. The open plan living, dining, and kitchen area is equipped with modern amenities such as a Smart TV and a gas fire, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring.

The kitchen is well-appointed with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine, making it easy to prepare meals for the family. A shared courtyard area outside offers a peaceful spot to enjoy a morning cup of tea. The master bedroom on the top floor features a private balcony with seating for two, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Additionally, there are two more bedrooms on the first floor, one with an ensuite bathroom and the other with bunk beds.

Guests can enjoy amenities such as WiFi, linen and towels, and the option to bring one small dog for an additional fee. Drop Anchor does not provide parking, but equipment such as a highchair and travel cot are available. With a Friday changeover and flexible short breaks, guests can easily plan their stay. However, it is important to note that Drop Anchor has feather bedding, which may not be suitable for all guests. This vacation home is conveniently located near cultural attractions like St Ives Museum and The Penwith Gallery, as well as outdoor activities along the South West Coast Path.
