Fowey, with its variety of pubs, restaurants, and cafes, is 1.5 miles away via the Bodinnick car/pedestrian ferry or half a mile down the creek by boat.

Guests at Pont Quay Cottage have access to a private quay, slipway, and foreshore for their own and hire boats with the owner's prior agreement. Pets are allowed but must be kept under control to protect the abundant wildlife in the area. There is a seasonal shop at Penmarlam campsite just 1 mile away. The cottage features an attractive paved patio and lawn on the quay side, bordered by a low Cornish stone wall, with a barbecue and garden furniture provided. Please note that the garden is not enclosed.

Situated down a private lane, the cottage has a parking area for two cars. Towels are not provided, but a loyalty discount is available for guests. The property can accommodate a maximum of 5 people plus 1 infant, and welcomes a maximum of two dogs.
