The three-bedroom apartment sits in the 18th-century stable block of the Penrose estate, with views overlooking gentle parkland towards Loe Pool. Penrose Stables is a serene sanctuary in the grounds of this historic estate, with its own decking area and a rockery garden. Inside feels very spacious with a bright open-plan kitchen, dining and living area and spacious bedrooms. 

The path that runs around the perimeter of Loe Pool passes the front of the building, offering a variety of walks around the estate, woods and lake. Beyond the estate, the market town, Helston, can be walked to within 35 minutes. The nearest beach is at Porthleven, which is just a 30 minute walk.  

Further afield, the fascinating island of St Michael’s Mount is a 30-minute drive from here. Take a short evocative boat trip to the island, or at low tide, enjoy the walk across the causeway. Discover its iconic medieval church and castle and its subtropical terraced garden.
