Built in the early 1800s as part of the old coastguard station, this cottage maintains much of its simple period character with white washed walls and a delabole slate roof. Looe, a seaside town, is 6 miles away by road, while the picturesque harbour of Polperro is 10 miles from the property. The Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary, an active rescue center, is less than a 10-minute drive away. The cottage features a small sheltered courtyard, a laundry room with a second sink, and a level front lawn with views overlooking the sea and beach. Barbecue and garden furniture are provided, and there is a private parking area for one car about 20 yards away.

Some important details to note are that the property does not accept pets, the telephone can only receive incoming calls, and it accommodates up to 4 adults, 1 child, and an infant. Unfortunately, a cot is not available. Boundary fences separate the cottages, but young children will need supervision due to a 3ft high sturdy wire fence on the seaward side. Overall, this cozy cottage offers a peaceful seaside retreat with beautiful views and easy access to the beach and village amenities.
