The cabin is located on a 3-acre site with resident pygmy goats and chickens, creating a peaceful and idyllic setting. Nearby amenities include a local shop, village green, play area, and village pub, all within walking distance. Guests can also explore stunning scenery with numerous walking and cycling routes, as well as visit popular attractions like Howletts Zoo and Wingham Wildlife Park.

Additional features of Oak Lodge include central heating throughout, clean linen and towels provided, and private parking for 2 vehicles. If Oak Lodge is not available, guests can also book Bramble Lodge, a similar cabin located nearby. Guests are welcome to bring their own firewood or purchase it on-site, and are reminded to bring charcoal for the BBQ. Check-in is after 3PM and check-out is at 10AM, with flexibility for early check-in and late check-out for an additional charge. The lodge must be left clean and tidy upon departure, and the maximum occupancy of 5 people must not be exceeded. Male-only group bookings are not accepted at this property.
