Enjoy a long, lazy lunch in the cottage’s private garden before taking a stroll down to the nearby beach. Carry on along the footpath to reach the Helford River. Here you’ll find the small village of Durgan with its exotic gardens, sheltered beach and former fish cellars.
A little further afield is the typically Cornish town of Helston, and the Penrose estate. The estate is home to a wooded area surrounding Cornwall’s largest natural lake and perfect for explorers young and old.
