Wadebridge is also part of the Camel cycle trail, with bike hire shops available for exploring the scenic route to Padstow or Bodmin. Padstow is known for its picturesque harbour and renowned restaurants like Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant, while Bodmin offers attractions such as Bodmin Jail and the National Trust property, Lanhydrock. Nearby Cardinham Woods provides a tranquil retreat with beautiful woods and a charming cafe.

For leisure facilities, guests can visit Hustyn's Resort just a short drive away, where they can enjoy amenities like an indoor pool, tennis courts, crazy golf, and a spa. The resort's restaurants are open to non-residents, but booking in advance is recommended. Parking is limited in the small hamlet of Burlawn, with only one dedicated space available opposite the cottage. The property can accommodate up to four guests and is pet-friendly, allowing for two small or medium-sized dogs or one large dog to stay for free. Short breaks are accepted between Easter and October, with a minimum stay of three nights. Guests can also request a zip and link bed setup when booking.
