The Lobster Pot is a charming 2-bedroom cottage located in Port Isaac, Cornwall, in the South West of England. Originally a Lobster Pot store in the 1940s, it was converted into living accommodation in the 1970s and recently underwent a full refurbishment in 2019. The cottage can sleep up to 4 people and offers modern and well-equipped accommodation in the conservation area of Port Isaac, just a short walk from the harbour. It features private parking for 1 large car or 2 smaller ones, as well as a private south-facing garden with a glimpse of the sea.

Port Isaac itself is a picturesque Cornish fishing village, known as Portwen in the TV show Doc Martin. The village was also the location for the recent film "Fishermen's Friends," with live performances by the band in the harbour on Friday evenings during the summer. Visitors can enjoy the village's coffee shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, including two Michelin-starred restaurants by chef Nathan Outlaw. The area offers a fish market on The Platt, as well as a beach and rock pools to explore at low tide. Nearby attractions include Port Gaverne and Port Quinn, while further afield, visitors can explore Polzeath's sandy surfing beach and take a passenger ferry from Rock to Padstow.

Guests staying at The Lobster Pot should note that bed linen and towels are not included but can be arranged for an additional cost. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the local landmarks such as Tintagel Old Post Office and King Arthur's Great Halls, as well as enjoying family-friendly activities like Cornish Coast Day Adventures and Pengenna Pasties.
