The Bolthole is a charming 19th century cottage located in St Ives, Cornwall, in the South West of England. This cozy property sleeps 4 people across 2 bedrooms and is just a short 2-minute walk from the beaches, shops, restaurants, and galleries in the town center. The cottage features an open plan living, dining, and kitchen area on the ground floor, with a sitting area that includes an exposed granite fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances.
On the first floor, there are 2 spacious bedrooms - one with a double bed and rustic oak shelving, and the other with a bunk bed (double mattress below, single above) and ample storage space. The family bathroom was newly fitted in 2021 and includes a bath with an electric shower over, a WC, and a wash hand basin. The property also benefits from a small covered yard at the front, ideal for storing beach equipment.
The Bolthole is heated by electric wall heaters and is carpeted throughout, except for the kitchen and bathroom areas. Located near the coast, this cottage is a great base for exploring St Ives and its surroundings. Nearby attractions include St Ives Harbour, South West Coast Path Section 20 Trailhead, St Ives Museum, and Paradise Park and JungleBarn. Guests can also enjoy activities such as game walks, birdwatching, and visits to the National Dahlia Collection and Trengwainton Garden.
