Situated on the West side of the Millendreath valley, the beach is easily accessible from Driftwood, offering a large flat sandy beach popular with families. Stand up paddle boards and kayaks are available for hire during the Summer months. Guests can walk across the beach to Looe when the tide is out, or take a 30-minute walk along the coastal path or a 5-minute drive. Looe itself boasts shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs, as well as a working harbour that adds to the charm of the town.

Parking is available for a fee via a pay and display machine in the car park or through the JustPark app, with a weekly charge of £20. However, there are approximately 75 steps leading up to the property, making it unsuitable for guests with limited mobility.
