Located in Lelant Downs, Cornwall in the South West of England, this cozy woodland chalet is a perfect retreat for up to 4 guests. The chalet features 2 bedrooms and is pet-friendly, making it ideal for a family or small group looking to explore the nearby coast. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests are required to bring their own bedding, including duvets, pillows, bed linen, and towels, and take them home after their stay. As a result, prices have been reduced, and the chalet will undergo deep cleaning and sanitization after each guest.
Set in a peaceful woodland setting spanning over 100 acres, the chalet offers a modern fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable lounge area with a TV/DVD player, and a small bathroom with a shower and bath tub. Outside, guests can enjoy a picnic bench for alfresco dining while watching local wildlife and listening to the birds singing in the trees. The chalet is not suitable for babies or toddlers, as there is not enough room for a cot in either bedroom. Free parking is available nearby, and electricity and cleaning costs are included in the price.
Guests can also enjoy on-site facilities at St Ives Holiday Village, including a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, children's play area, bar, restaurant, and evening entertainment. There are also nature walks in the woods available from March to October, although some facilities may be unavailable due to the pandemic. The area offers a range of activities, from horse riding and surfing to gourmet dining in local restaurants. A local bus service can take guests to nearby beaches and towns, or they can enjoy a scenic train ride to St Ives from the Lelant station. Well-behaved pets are welcome at an additional charge, and there are dog-friendly beaches nearby for exploring with furry friends. The chalet's location in St Ives provides easy access to Cornwall's natural beauty, including the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Marazion Marsh, as well as attractions like Paradise Park and JungleBarn and St Ives Museum.
