Lizard Lighthouse, located near Helston, Cornwall in the South West of England, is a fully operational lighthouse that was first established in 1619. The distinctive two white towers that stand today were built in 1751 by Thomas Fonnereau and have been maintained by Trinity House since 1771. The lighthouse was electrified in 1924 and fully automated in 1998, with a 26 mile light range and a 3 mile fog signal for misty conditions. Nearby Lizard Village offers shops, restaurants, and a pub just a short distance away.

The property allows for up to 4 guests and welcomes two well-behaved dogs for an additional charge. It offers amenities such as a travel cot, highchair, and ear plugs for comfort during foggy periods. Due to the lighthouse's operational nature, maintenance staff may visit at any time, but guest privacy is prioritized. The access roads to the site are narrow with limited passing places, and guests are reminded to exercise caution due to the heritage building's unique features.

While WiFi is not available and mobile signal is limited, a telephone with an honesty box is provided for communication. Guests are encouraged to supervise children at all times and are advised against bringing fireworks, drones, or remote controlled flying equipment. Charging an electric car is not permitted on the property, and guests are welcome to bring their own barbecue, following safety precautions outlined in the arrival information.
