Guests can enjoy watching horses in the adjacent stables and meadow, as well as explore the surrounding countryside via a foot/bridle path that runs directly from the cottage driveway. Access to the local tramway for cycling is also close by, with the option to reach the sandy beaches at Portreath or Devoran.
The cottage is situated around 2 miles from the sandy bays of Portreath and Porthtowan, both popular for surfing and offering attractions for all ages. Nearby sites include the ruins of mine buildings around St Agnes and Cligga Point, as well as Newquay, Godrevy, the Cornish Cider Farm, Newquay Zoo and Aquarium, and Flambards Theme Park. The accommodation features an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a wood burner, comfortable furniture, and TV/DVD with Freeview. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and a dining table for four.
There are two bedrooms in the cottage, a double with en suite shower and WC, and a twin room, both with their own TV/DVD. Outside, guests can relax on two patios or a fenced lawn area, with additional storage for bikes and surfboards available. Ample parking is provided for multiple cars directly outside the cottage. Central heating usage between November and March incurs an additional fee, and two dogs are welcome to accompany guests during their stay. Overall, this cottage offers a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the attractions of the West Country and enjoying the natural beauty of the Cornwall coast.
