The interior consists of an open-plan living room with a fitted kitchen, dining area, and woodburning stove. There is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a separate bathroom and WC. Outside, guests can enjoy a wrap-around terrace with a sunken hot tub and provided furniture, as well as off-road parking for one car.

Amenities at 2 Lake View include gas central heating, an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD player, and fiber optic broadband. Fuel and power are included in the rent, but guests must bring their own woodburner fuel. Bed linen and towels are also provided, along with a travel cot (no mattress) and highchair. One well-behaved pet is welcome, and smoking is not permitted on the premises. The lodge is conveniently located near a shop and a pub/restaurant, with check-in at 4pm and check-out at 10am.
