Located in the ancient village of Westbury-sub-Mendip, near Wells and Cheddar in Cornwall, The Dairy is a charming 400-year-old stone cottage set in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the foot of the Mendip hills. The cottage sleeps 3 plus a baby/toddler and is a peaceful getaway for couples, families, walkers, cyclists, and dog owners. The cottage features original 16th-century vaulted ceiling beams, a sunny sitting room with smart TV and DVD player, a well-equipped kitchen, and a small patio garden with a water feature and lawn.

Guests at The Dairy can enjoy wonderful country walks, including Lynchcombe nature reserve, which leads up to the craggy Mendip tops and the pub in Priddy village, offering outstanding views of the Somerset coast and Wales beyond. Maps and guides are provided to inspire guests for walks and trips, and dogs are welcome with well-behaved owners. The cottage is a 10-minute drive to Wells or Cheddar, both offering interesting shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions such as Wells Cathedral, Bishops Palace, the farmers market, and the famous Cheddar gorge and caves.

Owners Cathy and Will live next door and are always happy to help guests get the most from their stay.
