Nestling amongst meadows and working farmland is this pretty slate-hung cottage. It makes up one half of a former farm workers’ home on Triggabrowne Farm, the other half is occupied by Meadow Cottage. You’ll have your own garden, complete with a stone barbeque, picnic table and views across the countryside.
Inside you’ll find all the quirks and comforts of a traditional Cornish cottage, with its wood panelled ceiling, open fire and cool cream walls. There’s room for two people and one dog too.
A short walk from here will lead you to the rocky outcrops and stunning seascapes of Pencarrow Head. You may even spot one of our tenant farmers, who help care for the land, going about their daily business. Stop off at local beaches Lantic Bay and Lantivet Bay before finishing the day with a pub dinner at quaint fishing village, Polruan. Alternatyively you can hop on the ferry to visit the lovely town of Fowey.
Self-catering cottage holidays in the UK and Ireland can still be a green option. You can have the comforts of home and the flexibility to do what you want; when you want - without the hassles of air travel!
