The ground floor of the cottage features a light and bright conservatory that houses a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. There is also a shower room with a WC, shower cubicle, hand basin, and heated towel rail. The open-plan living room has whitewashed stone walls, a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, a comfortable leather sofa, warm rugs on wooden floorboards, and a king-size bed. Outside, there is a small sunny cottage garden with garden furniture and an abundance of birds and wildlife.

In the local area, guests can enjoy a short walk downhill to the 16th-century, dog-friendly Polgooth Inn, as well as various local walks. Bicycle hire is available at Pentewan, 2.5 miles away, to explore the Pentewan Valley and Clay Trails. Popular attractions like the Eden Project, Pinetum Gardens, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Trewithen are all within a 7-mile radius. The nearest beaches are at Porthpean and Pentewan, 3 miles away. Guests should note that there are three electric wall heaters in the property, a maximum of 2 small dogs are allowed, and there are steps and a sloping pathway leading uphill from the car parking space.
