Located in Falmouth, Cornwall in the South West of England, Trenoweth Vean Cottages offer comfortable year-round holiday accommodation with the added benefit of double glazing. The cottages, named Lilliput, Tom Thumb, and Thumbelina, are sympathetically converted and set in an elevated position just outside the village of Mabe, offering far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. The village of Mabe has a post office, stores, and a pub offering a good selection of pub food, with a large supermarket just a 5-minute drive away.
The sandy beaches of Falmouth Bay are approximately 5 miles from the cottages, with opportunities for outdoor activities such as walking around Argal Reservoir, noted for its wildlife, and water-based activities at Stithians Lake Country Park, just 4 miles away. The Flicka Foundation Horse and Donkey Sanctuary is nearby, along with the glorious gardens of Penjerrick, Glendurgan, and Trebah on the banks of the Helford River, all less than a 15-minute drive away. Each cottage has its own individual character but shares similar features, with low walled patio gardens in front and a shared lawned garden and drying area at the rear.
Guests can enjoy a shared gravel terrace and raised lawned garden with garden furniture provided, as well as private parking for one car per property. The cottages do not accept pets and do not offer cots or highchairs. Each property accommodates a maximum of 2 people plus 1 infant, with a loyalty discount available for returning guests. Tom Thumb and Thumbelina are located together, offering a peaceful and scenic retreat in the heart of Cornwall's countryside.
