The historic fishing port remains largely unspoilt and the townspeople like to keep it that way.  Within easy striking distance are magnificent walks along the coastal footpaths and just a few miles down the coast are some of the finest beaches in Cornwall; a number absolutely ideal for surfing the rolling Atlantic breakers.
