The house is located on a family-run campsite with a shop and tea room, and guests can explore the nearby Valle Crucis Abbey or venture further into Snowdonia or England.

Amenities at The Farm House include biomass central heating, an open fire, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher, TVs with Freeview, DVD player, iPod dock, and WiFi. Bed linen, towels, and a travel cot are provided, with a highchair available on request. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, and there is a refundable good housekeeping bond of £250. The property is near a working farm, so dogs must be kept on leads. Guests should note that the hot tub may not be at temperature on the first night of their stay, and WiFi can be intermittent.
