Stay in one of the last surviving Welsh Cloms, a 17th-century mud constructed cottage. This charming little nook has been carefully restored with a modern twist. It has been transformed into a one-bedroom retreat brimming with character. You’ll still be able to appreciate its vernacular detail, with original cow stalls, cobbled stone floors and smoke-blackened oak trusses all preserved, while modern technologies such as the biomass pellet boiler and solar panels have been added to create a sustainable and comfortable stay.
You’ll not only fall in love with this romantic cottage, but its surroundings too. It sits on the edge of the Llanerchaeron parkland, with its pleasure gardens, ornamental lake elegant Georgian manor nearby. You’ll have your own little garden too, with a tumbling stream at the bottom.
Further afield, the beautiful Ceredigion coast is awash with golden sand, award winning beaches, cliff-top trails, coves and caves, and historic fishing ports. The town of Aberaeron is a must see with its Georgian houses and elegant architecture.
