Denmark Farm Eco Lodge, located near Lampeter in Ceredigion, Wales, is a unique wooden lodge designed to offer sustainable holidays for couples, families, and groups. Accommodating up to 12 guests in six bedrooms, the lodge features a welcoming atmosphere with a focus on environmental responsibility, as all profits from bookings support the Shared Earth Trust charity. The lodge is equipped with modern amenities, including a cozy wood burner, natural Welsh wool blankets, and a delightful veranda that allows guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty surrounding the farm.

The lodge is conveniently situated just a short distance from the university town of Lampeter, where visitors can explore a variety of cafes, restaurants, independent shops, and a Saturday People’s Market. Guests can also enjoy leisurely strolls around Denmark Farm, which features a beautiful hay meadow, a wildlife pond, and a lakeside shelter, all perfect for observing the diverse local wildlife. Additionally, Denmark Farm offers a range of activities, courses, and events to enhance the visitor experience.

Denmark Farm Eco Lodge consists of three interconnecting apartments, each designed to provide flexible accommodation. The Owl’s Roost Apartment features two bedrooms, including a king-size bed and a twin room, both with en-suite bathrooms. The Robins’s Perch Apartment offers similar amenities, while the Swallow’s Nest Apartment includes two more twin bedrooms, also with en-suite facilities. The lodge is accessible, catering to guests with limited mobility, and includes a total of six bathrooms across the apartments.

Each apartment boasts open-plan living areas that include modern kitchens, dining spaces, and comfortable lounge areas equipped with sofas, log burners, and televisions. Outside, guests can enjoy a covered veranda with seating, a barbecue area, and a natural play area for children. The lodge is set within a 40-acre nature reserve, featuring accessible trails leading to wildlife watching hides, ponds, meadows, and woodlands. Private parking is available for six cars, along with lockable bike storage for outdoor enthusiasts.

Denmark Farm Eco Lodge can be booked in its entirety or by individual apartments, making it a versatile option for various group sizes. For larger groups, especially those with children, additional camp beds and cots can be provided, allowing the lodge to accommodate up to 16 guests. This eco-friendly retreat not only offers a comfortable stay but also an opportunity to connect with nature and support a charitable cause.
