The cottage can be booked in conjunction with three other properties, allowing for a total of 16 people to sleep comfortably. Chestnut Cottage features warm and contemporary open plan living, with private parking right outside the front door. The separate kitchen and bathroom, along with an open plan dining and sleeping area with a high-quality double bed, have been tastefully furnished and equipped for guest comfort.

Guests at Chestnut Cottage can enjoy their very own private garden with outdoor furniture, making it the ideal spot for relaxing on summer evenings with a glass of wine. A BBQ is available by prior request, and essential amenities such as salt, pepper, tea, coffee, bed linen, and super soft towels are provided. Guests can also have their groceries delivered directly to the cottage by Ocado (Waitrose), Sainsbury’s, or Tesco for added convenience.

As a guest at Chestnut Cottage, you have access to all areas of the cottage and private garden, as well as parts of the neighboring farm, river, and riverbank. Additionally, you can launch your canoe or boat for free from the local marina just a mile away. Prior to arrival, a £100 security deposit is required, and an additional £50 security deposit per dog if bringing pets. Additional amenities such as a travel cot, high chair, and adjustable height shower chair can be provided upon request. The cottage is in a rural area, offering a peaceful retreat with opportunities for water adventures, cycling, and horse riding nearby.
