The lodge includes a double bedroom, single bedroom, and twin bedroom, as well as a kitchen, dining room, and lounge area with a smart TV. The property also offers wheelchair access and a wet room, with a veranda at the front and an enclosed hot tub on the side.
Set in 5 acres of broadleaf woodland, the lodge is conveniently located close to Cardiff and Newport, with regular buses running through the village and a nearby train station at Crosskeys. Guests are provided with bedding and towels, but are advised to bring their own for the hot tub. The Brecon Beacons National Park is a short drive away, offering plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking and exploring the natural beauty of the area.
Pets are welcome at the lodge, but guests are asked to ensure they do not damage the furniture and to bring their own blankets to cover the sofas. Check-in is between 2-9pm, with check-out at 11am. The property does not accept group bookings for males or females, only contractors. Due to COVID-19 protocols, guests will have their temperatures checked upon arrival, with entry denied if temperatures exceed 38°C, and guests will be advised to contact medical services for further guidance.
The cabin is situated in Ynysddu, a rural and mountainous neighborhood in Newport, offering easy access to outdoor activities such as fishing, swimming, hiking, and mountain biking. The natural beauty of the surrounding area, including the Brecon Beacons National Park and Sirhowy Valley Country Park, provides guests with plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the outdoors. Cultural attractions such as Riverfront and National Museum Cardiff are also within reach, offering a diverse range of activities for guests to enjoy during their stay.
