For outdoor enthusiasts, the nearby River Leader and River Tweed offer excellent Salmon and Trout Fishing, while walkers, hikers, and mountain bikers can explore the Southern Upland Way and the Lammermuir Hills. The unspoilt Berwickshire coast is also a short drive away. The cottage itself is spacious, bright, and well-presented, with a king-size bedroom, country-style kitchen, spacious lounge with wood burner, and a cosy snug on the ground floor. There is also a shower room, boot room, and a pretty lawned garden with play equipment for children.

On the first floor, there are three additional bedrooms, including two twin rooms and one twin zip and link room that can be made into a super king size bed upon request. A family bathroom with shower over the bath completes the accommodation. Guests are free to explore the 50-acre estate, which features resident peacocks, a croquet lawn, tennis court, and a barn with free play pool table, American football table, darts, and a two-player arcade game. These facilities are shared with other guests staying on the estate, providing entertainment options for all ages.
