The property overlooks Loch Awe and is available for short breaks with a minimum 3-night stay. Surrounded by forestry land, guests can enjoy walking, off-road cycling, and fishing with necessary permits. The cottage is situated approximately 23 miles from Oban, known as the Seafood Capital of Scotland and the Gateway to the Isles.

Within an hour's drive of No 2, guests can visit historical and scenic places such as Kilchurn Castle, Kilmartin Glen, Crinan Canal, Tayvallich, and other coastal villages popular with the sailing community. There are also distilleries within easy reach for those interested in Uisge Beatha. The cottage has recently undergone renovations, including a newly refurbished bathroom, and can accommodate up to 4 people with a sitting room, wood-burning stove, smart TV, double bedroom, king/twin bedroom, fitted kitchen, and Wi-Fi.

The property features a large garden with a patio/seating area, but it is not fully enclosed so small children need to be supervised. Pets and smoking are not allowed, and due to a private water supply, bottled water for drinking is strongly advised. Guests are recommended to bring a torch if arriving after dark to enjoy the lack of ambient lighting and clear star formations. Security cameras are in operation outside the property but will be disabled during guests' stay. The rural location offers a peaceful retreat with opportunities for outdoor activities and exploring the natural beauty of the area.
