The Drum is a unique elliptical house located in Dunmore, Argyll, Scotland, perfect for a couple's getaway. Designed by architect Roderick James and built by a local team, the house features a stunning charred larch exterior with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. The open-plan interior is clad in birch and includes a wood-burning stove, a big velvet sofa, and a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The smart shower room offers luxurious amenities such as a rainfall shower, fluffy towels, and premium toiletries.
The curved bedroom boasts a king-sized bed with wool duvet and crisp white bedding, providing a comfortable retreat for guests. Outside, there is a barbecue, fire pit, and garden furniture for outdoor relaxation. The unfenced garden is a work in progress, offering a natural setting for guests to enjoy. Although there is no television, guests can stay connected with wifi and a Roberts radio provided in the house.
