Lonan House is a stunning Edwardian mansion located in Glen Lonan, Taynuilt, Argyll, Scotland. Designed by Sir Robert Lorimer in 1906, this grand holiday house offers breathtaking views of Ben Cruachan, the highest mountain in Argyll. The property consists of 6 individual apartments that can be booked together to accommodate up to 18 guests, making it perfect for large families, special occasions, or group getaways. Each apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, stylish bathroom, and cozy seating area around a wood-burning stove. The nine luxurious bedrooms are elegantly furnished with comfortable mattresses and fine linen, offering views of the surrounding garden and Ben Cruachan.

Situated in a private and peaceful glen near Taynuilt and Oban, Lonan House provides an ideal base to explore the Scottish Highlands. Guests can enjoy the landscaped garden, croquet lawn, and pond, as well as the extended grounds and woodland teeming with wildlife such as deer, red squirrels, otters, and pine martens. Birdwatchers will delight in spotting a variety of birds, including golden and white-tailed sea eagles. The area offers numerous walking trails with panoramic views of Mull, Loch Etive, and Loch Awe. Additionally, Glen Lonan is part of National Cycle Route 78, The Caledonia Way, providing opportunities for cycling enthusiasts to explore the picturesque Scottish countryside.
